The ideal temperature depends on the type of mushroom. For example, Penis Envy thrives at a steady 20-24°C during incubation, while Golden Teacher prefers a range of 21-23°C. Check your kit instructions for the specifics, as each variety has different needs.

Hold the spray bottle about 10-15 cm from the kit and mist lightly. If you see tiny droplets forming on the kit’s plastic flaps, that’s a good sign! Aim for 2-3 times daily or more if it starts looking dry.

During incubation, a cool, steady-temperature spot like a closet or shaded shelf works well. After incubation, move it to an area with indirect light and airflow, like your kitchen counter. Avoid direct sun, drafts, and hot spots.
