What if the kit gets contaminated?
Since our grow kits are 100% mycelium colonized, contamination is extremely rare. However, if you notice green, yellow, or red discoloration, it’s best to discard the kit or separate it from others to prevent any spread.
Contamination risks increase after multiple flushes, especially with Enigma, due to its extended fruiting time. If contamination occurs:
- Clean and sanitize all surfaces that came into contact with the kit.
Always maintain a clean environment and use proper hygiene practices to reduce risks.
Can I harvest more than once?
Yes! All grow kits, except Enigma, can produce multiple flushes. Experienced growers can achieve up to 7 harvests.
- Enigma is different, typically fruiting in 3-4 weeks, and we recommend focusing on a single flush.
- To maximize flushes, maintain optimal growing conditions and rehydrate the substrate between harvests by soaking it in water for several hours before returning it to the fruiting environment.
How long does it take to grow mushrooms?
All grow kits are similar except for Enigma.
- Enigma typically fruits in 3-4 weeks, and we recommend focusing on a single flush for optimal results.
- Other varieties will fruit in 1-3 weeks and can produce up to 7 flushes with proper care.
How do I store the kit if I’m not ready to start?
Store your grow kit in the refrigerator or any cool place where the temperature is between 2-8°C. For the best results, use the kit within 3 months.
What’s included in each Grow Kit?
The kit includes a 1200ml substrate box, a grow bag with a micron filter, and two paper clips.

I recently ordered the Beginner Bundle from FungiApe and wanted to share my experience. I got a 10% discount for writing a review, which was a nice bonus! I placed my order on a Sunday, and it arrived in Sweden by Wednesday. The bundle came with three kits—BV, JF, and GT—and I’ve now completed three flushes with each kit. BV: 251g on the first flush, 230g on the second, and 211g on the third. JF: 189g on the first flush, 247g on the second, and 219g on the third. GT: 205g on the first flush, 207g on the second, and 181g on the third. I’m really grateful I went for the Beginner Bundle. The kits were easy to use, and the whole process helped me learn a lot. If you’re just starting out, this bundle is a great choice. P.s. attaching BV foto, those looks like a portrait to me. Enjoy the journey

I recently ordered the Beginner Bundle and found the experience pretty straightforward. The delivery was fast, and the kit performed well through three flushes with consistent yields. The instructions are clear and beginner-friendly. My only gripe is that payment is only accepted in EUR. Overall, I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars.

kit was packed in such a professional way—I was impressed right away. My first flush is done, and the results were amazing! The trips were everything I hoped for, and the mushrooms grew beautifully. I did notice most of them grew on the borders, but that was totally my mistake with the lighting setup. Lesson learned for next time! Despite that, the Beginners Bundle was so easy to use, and I’m definitely buying again. Highly recommend this kit for anyone starting out—it’s beginner-friendly and delivers great results!
